Welcome to Aurora Wind Arabians..........

 

Nestled in the heart of Sunset Country is a small breeding farm dedicated to producing traditional Arabian type.  Arabians that are exquisite, versatile, and possess that “live in your tent” personality.

A new time begins here at Aurora Wind....now the new home of the Russian Heritage Foundation we are pleased to announce the arrival of many lovely straight Russian mares and stallions through the auspices of several incredible Russian breeders.

Eternally grateful to  Jane Woodward, of Top of the World Ranch, we are pleased to announce the arrival of the straight Russian *Princip son, Pinnicol. 

We anticipate an outstanding foal crop and look forward in the years to come for the complimentary cross to the Nefison daughters and the crosses on the two new Russian stallions that are soon to arrive here......Selket Patriotik and Aabsolut. 

 Without the dedication of several Russian breeders, this coming together of some of the most incredible straight Russian stock would have never occurred!!  Many thanks to Jane Woodward, Jim and Ron of Selket Arabians, Cindi of Sport Arabians and Sharon and Troy of Singinghearts Farms.  Much thanks to Donna and Nadia of Kakagi and especially Nefison for lighting this passion.

Along with a strong sire line, the most important ingredient to producing typical Arabian foals is to collect an incredible treasure of broodmares.    We are pleased to be owned by some of the very best.  Our mares include daughters of Moment, Muscat, Princip, Padron, Mag, Hal Gazal, LBA Lode Star and Ali El Din.  

We have added a wonderful group of mares from Selket including none other than the Mag daughter Magketa and the Pattrone daughters Preferred Time and Magdalen.  More Russian lovelies soon to arrive from Singinghearts and Top of the World....stay tuned the Russian revival is beginning!!

One of the things we treasure most tho are the friends that we have been blessed with because of owning these wonderful horses.  With them the world shines brightly and the passion for these horses continues to burn day after day.....
